PokeBonk Updates: Current Beta & Gameplay Changes

Current source scope: Beta v0.7.3 · Checked October 19, 2026

THE QUICK ANSWER

The original public entry displayed Beta v0.7.3 when checked on October 19, 2026. The latest released Patch #7 announcement changes map visibility, save retries, controls and shop behavior. The same day’s Season 2 message is a roadmap, including co-op after the season starts, rather than a list of already released features.

Which version and dates were checked?

The English entry displayed Beta v0.7.3. The Patch #7 news record is timestamped October 18, 2026 at 18:18:46 UTC (October 19 at 02:18 in China). The later Season 2 roadmap is dated October 19 at 00:09 UTC. These dates identify game announcements, separately from the source checks for this guide.

The supplied material’s v0.6.4 snapshot is older than the inspected entry. This page reconciles the differences below instead of calling every older description current. A published fix note also does not prove the fix works on every device or account.

Patch #7: changes that affect your next decision

Affected instructions are reflected in map visibility, save recovery, shop stock and refreshes, move inspection and controls. The patch also fixes Training availability, guest exit/conversion issues, clan Survival contribution and some anti-cheat false flags.

Older notes that still need qualification

The original Training introduction’s extra money is superseded by the later no-extra-money note. The v0.6-era fog-only map summary is superseded for the three major progression markers. An old “single-map/no portals” Survival description must distinguish Classic zone gates from Patch #5’s timed migration portal.

Evolution thresholds include partner-specific overrides. Caterpie/Weedle use 8 and 36; Omanyte/Kabuto and Magikarp use 40 for their relevant transition. A generic formula without those overrides is an incomplete summary. These are current-client readings, not a record of a played evolution.

Season 2 roadmap: what is still a plan?

The October 19 message says Season 2 will not introduce Generation 2. It announces two maps, new bosses, final-boss reworks, Mega evolution, achievements, items and map events. It also plans a Survival rework. Those announcements do not authorize listing the new systems as currently usable.

Co-op is planned shortly after Season 2 launches, rather than at its start, and the exact timing remains pending. The message describes a one-to-two-day transition with play available but no ladder scoring until the new season. During a season the core mechanics/economy are intended to stay stable except for serious bugs, with quality-of-life and bug fixes continuing. Check the live news and season panel for subsequent changes.
