PokeBonk Items: Effects, Limits & Run Choices

Current source scope: Beta v0.7.3 · Checked October 19, 2026

THE QUICK ANSWER

The current public client defines 102 item-pool entries with survivor-specific effects and stack caps. Search the static catalog below for the effect you need. Not every entry begins unlocked or appears in every run, and familiar Pokémon item names do not imply their main-series behavior.

Current item effects and caps

This catalog transcribes the current client’s 84 explicit item definitions and 18 generated type boosters. Caps use the item-specific value where supplied and the client’s default of ten otherwise. Rarity is a pool label, not a drop-rate estimate. The fresh Lab inspection showed 67/102 in the pool; an established profile can differ.

Check the whole effect, including its cost

A type booster gives 30% damage to its type and 3% total damage. That does not make it equally useful for every move in a mixed kit. Kit types and categories help determine what benefits. Keep separate modifier groups separate rather than summing every percentage into one invented final statistic.

ExampleWhy it matters
Life Orb30% damage costs 10% maximum HP; cap five.
Choice Band / Choice Specs35% physical / special damage with 8% less attack speed; cap five. These do not impose an imported main-series one-move lock.
Shell Bell / LeftoversLifesteal based on damage dealt and flat regeneration are different recovery mechanisms.
Max Revive / Rainbow WingA limited revival effect is not an unlimited death reset. Read its once-only or once-per-zone condition.
Master BallThe current effect includes guaranteed wild capture and 25% damage, with cap one. Do not extend that text to every kind of encounter.

How an entry gets into the usable pool

The Lab’s Items view separates discovery objectives and Stardust unlocks from items already in your pool. Read the entry’s lock requirement and unlock cost there. Once available, a pool item can be offered through item Poké Balls or the Meowth shop; its presence in this list does not guarantee either offer.

Archive is a permanent preparation tool that excludes selected items from Poké Ball and shop offers. Its Lab upgrade adds three archive slots per level, up to nine. It changes the candidate pool rather than granting a replacement item directly.

When you need a different guide

For a transaction that is greyed out, compare current currency, stack count, shop stock and shop limits. For a choice between damage and survival, use the build decision checklist. The effect table can identify a compatible choice, but it cannot prove which randomly available offer will produce a winning run.

Item effects and availability can change between betas. This page follows client v0.7.3 checked October 19; it does not copy the larger background item database’s flavor text as game mechanics.

Sources and version scope

This independent guide uses the original project’s menu text, current client definitions and dated announcements. Menus were inspected; no run, purchase, reward claim or account recovery was played through for this guide.

Source-check dates are separate from publication dates. This page is part of a local preview. Read the source and artwork approach.
